Craignish First Responders

Good news!

The Craignish First Responders are back in operation, and able to provide an almost 24/7 cover (there may be a few small gaps while additional people complete their training).
So in the event of a health emergency: dial 999 and ask for ambulance.
The local First Responder will automatically be called (where this is appropriate to the emergency).

For the few occasions when there is no local First Responder cover, Scottish Ambulance will also use the NHS volunteer responder app, GoodSam (see https://www.goodsamapp.org/NHS for more info). This services uses a phone app to alert any volunteer responder who may be close by. Many of our local people who are trained first responders are signed up to this App.

Craignish Community Council would like to thank everyone in the community who has volunteered, and has been completing the training, in order to get this essential service back up and running.
